High sugar prices a matter of concern - trade min

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - High prices of sugar are a matter of concern, Trade Minister Anand Sharma told reporters on Monday.

India's 2008/09 sugar output fell 44 percent to 14.7 million tonnes from 26.3 million tonnes a year ago.
